Ana Paula Teixeira is the vice president of Internal Controls and Risk Management at Banco do Brasil, the first woman to hold a similar position since the founding of the state-owned company in 1808. Teixeira has been a career employee of the bank since 1995 and has already held the positions of Director of Internal Control and Compliance and Director of Product of BB DTVM. She has a degree in Accounting Sciences and a master’s degree in Economics from the University of Brasilia and a postgraduate degree in Accounting Sciences from the Getulio Vargas Foundation.
