Andrea Marques de Almeida was CFO of Petrobras from 2019 until April this year, after a 25-year career at Vale. The executive was the only Brazilian on U.S. Fortune magazine’s list of the 50 most powerful women in the world, recognized for organizing the state-owned company’s finances and dividend policy. According to Bloomberg, she was hired by Santander Brazil and is expected to start in October as strategic director, after serving a period of garden leave.
