This venture, founded in Medellín in 2018, began as a hotel management platform, but quickly transformed into a chain that, under the conversion franchise model, brings together independent hotels in the category of work or business trips. As its creators explain to Bloomberg Line, Ayenda is the largest Latin American hotel chain in the region. In 3 and a half years of operations, it has a total of 260 hotels under its brand. Of these, 226 are in 17 cities in Colombia, 32 hotels in three cities in Peru and one in Mexico City, where they recently opened operations.
