Karla Gallardo is CEO and cofounder of Cuyana, a sustainable fashion brand for women that was launched in 2011 and currently ships to more than 40 countries. Her products are made by artisans from Europe, South America, China, and the United States. She is Ecuadorian, with a degree in Applied Mathematics from Brown University and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business. She formerly worked at the investment bank Goldman Sachs.
