Pedro Guimarães is the current president of Caixa Econômica Federal since 2019, responsible for restructuring the state bank. One of the most outstanding aspects of his performance so far was the Caixa Seguridade IPO in April this year, which moved R$ 5,000 million. Caixa reported record profits with the president’s performance in 2019 and 2020. Previously, Guimarães had worked for large banks such as BTG Pactual and Plural, both as main partner.
