The organization Border Angels provides critical humanitarian assistance along the US side of the US-Mexico border. Since 1986, the group has made it its mission to reduce the number of human fatalities at border crossings by strategically placing water, food and clothing in visible locations for those who need them. In addition, under the direction of Luis Aragón, a former prosecutor with a long legal career in California, Border Angels advocates in favor of human rights and reforms to the US immigration system. The CSO also conducts awareness training and raises funds to support causes in favor of migrants.
