Opened in 2002, the hotel was the first of the Hyatt chain in Brazil. It is located on the banks of the Pinheiros River, overlooking the Atirantado Bridge, in a commercial region in the southern part of São Paulo, near the offices of multinationals and shopping malls. It often hosts artists who perform concerts at the Morumbi Stadium, relatively close to the hotel, such as Madonna, U2 and Elton John. It has also hosted celebrities such as the Dalai Lama.

Amenities: It has a restaurant with varied cuisines and every Saturday serves “feijoada”, a typical Brazilian dish, and on Sundays, brunch. There is also a Japanese restaurant, Kinu. It has both an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, and a spa.

Business and events tips: The event space has an area close to 33,000 square feet, which can be divided into individual rooms, and can accommodate events of different sizes, for groups from 10 to 1,200 people.

What’s nearby: The hotel is close to the Shopping Morumbi and Market Place malls, two of the city’s main shopping centers, and the Teatro Vivo.
