Roberto Monteiro joined PRIO (formerly PetroRio) in 2014 and was previously CFO of OGX and OSX (owned by Eike Batista), as well as logistics company ALL. The year 2022 was marked by a major acquisition by PRIO: the purchase of Dommo (ex-OGX) in September, for US$180 million. Since then, the company’s shares on Brazil’s B3 stock exchange have almost doubled, standing at around 40 reais (US$8.31). PRIO currently has five assets in operation and, in 2023, the company reported a 27% growth in reserves. In May, it announced its first oil discovery, as part of the second phase of the revitalization of the Frade field. In consolidated 2022, net revenues grew 54% to US$1.2 billion. Net revenues increased by 193% to US$711 million.
