Viveka Kaitila is the president of General Electric (GE) in Brazil, the second woman to hold the position since the company’s arrival in the country. Born in Finland, she immigrated to Brazil at the age of four and studied in the USA during the 1990s. She worked in corporate finance at Itaú and Bank of America and, in 2017, became president of GE, where she has been with GE for 23 years.
