Rubens Menin is a founding partner of the MRV&CO group, formed by the housing and construction companies MRV, Urba, Sensia, Luggo and the North American company Resia. The group is considered the largest residential construction company in Latin America, with consolidated net operating revenues of 6.63 billion reais (US$1.339 billion) in 2022. Menin is also the founder of Inter bank, Log, a commercial and industrial real estate company, and the Menin Douro Estates winery, in addition to owning the CNN Brazil broadcaster and Radio Itatiaia, among other businesses. In 2018, he was the first South American entrepreneur elected Entrepreneur Of The Year at the EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year. Menin also invests in social projects in the country, such as the MRV Institute, created in 2014. He holds a degree in civil engineering from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG).
