Gregorio Pérez Companc is the owner of one of the largest economic groups in the country, the Pérez Companc Group, today chaired by his son, Luis. It has a presence in the food sector with Molinos Río del Plata, livestock (in Argentina and Uruguay), agribusiness (Molinos Agro) and also the energy sector, through Pecom and Conuar. Through its agribusiness venture, the group has managed to double its profitability in the first quarter of this year: according to its balance, it made a profits of 7,13 billion Argentine pesos. Gregorio is also one of the country’s wealthiest persons.
