Carla de Freitas is a cattle farmer, owner of Agropecuária Bela Vista, with 8,000 hectares in Chupinguaia (RO), she is also one of the founders and first president of the Núcleo Feminino do Agronegócio (NFA), the first association of women in Brazilian agribusiness, created in 2010. She started working in the activity in 1997 and detected difficulties in the area of farm management. She then decided to invite other women in the sector to exchange experiences and found the group.
