José Aroldo Gallassini is chairman of the board of Coamo, the most important agribusiness cooperative in Brazil and Latin America. More than a leader, he was one of the creators of the project that began operations in 1970. In 1969, as an Emater employee, he conducted the first experiments with wheat in the region of Campo Mourão, in the state of Paraná. Later, he began experiments with soybeans.
