Norma Gatto owns four farms in Itiquira and Sorriso (MT). She took over the management of the business only in 2000, after the murder of her husband, without having any knowledge of the sector. Currently, she manages 20,000 hectares in which she grows soybeans, corn, beans and rice and in which she also intends to install cattle production and fish farming. In Argentina, she owns 160 hectares of land dedicated to the production of rubber trees.
