In 2020, she became the first woman to chair the Mexican Association of Insurance Institutions (AMIS). After a year marked by the pandemic, in which the industry contracted 2.7% due to the performance of the Mexican economy, the director was ratified to direct the sector’s interests for another 12 months. In addition, with 30 years of industry experience, she left the presidency and general management of Metlife in Mexico to take over as the insurer’s senior vice president of Business Development and Transformation for Latin America.
