Marisol Argueta de Barillas has been the director for Latin America of the World Economic Forum (WEF) since 2010. She also serves as a member of the Executive Committee of that organization. She is a lawyer by profession as well as a career ambassador and holds an MSc in diplomacy from the University of Oxford. Between 2008 and 2009 she was the Foreign Minister of El Salvador. Argueta de Barillas defines herself as an international leader in public-private collaboration and innovation with a mission to achieve sustainable and inclusive societies.
