Brazilian footballer Marta is the greatest goal scorer in the history of the World Cup, among both male and female athletes, with 17 goals. Her impact has been felt not only on the players who wear the number 10 jersey of the Brazilian national team, but also women in general who work in male-dominated environments. In 2022, Marta was the only Brazilian to be chosen for the FIFA Ultimate Team. Born in the state of Alagoas, she has been voted best in the world by FIFA on six occasions, a record number among women.
