Bruna Marquezine will be the first Brazilian actress to star in a Hollywood superhero franchise movie, playing Jenny in DC Comics’ Blue Beetle, slated for release in August 2023. Marquezine, 27, has 43 million followers on Instagram, the 10th most-followed account in Brazil, and also stars in the Netflix series Maldives - which was among the streaming platform’s top 10 worldwide in its premiere week in June 2022.
