Carlos Raúl Espínola, executive president of Banco Continental (Paraguay), is the largest shareholder and leads the financial institution, which had net profits in excess of US$56.3 million in 2021. In addition, the institution recorded a market share of 15.5% of the total loan portfolio. The company also owns Patria Seguros, the processing company Bepsa and Avalon Casa de Bolsa.
