Eduardo Sergio Elsztain

Since 1991, Eduardo Sergio Elsztain has been president of Banco Hipotecario and heads Irsa Inversiones, one of the largest commercial real estate firms in Argentina. Irsa has also expanded its real estate activity to include shopping centers in different parts of the country. In view of the pandemic, the company bet on reconverting shopping malls into ‘experience centers’, with the incorporation of different features. One of the latest investments was for U$S 20 million in the Alto Avellaneda shopping center. IRSA also owns traditional hotels such as the Intercontinental, Llao Llao and Libertador.
