Felipe Bayón

President of Ecopetrol Group, Colombia’s largest oil and gas conglomerate. Born in Bogotá. He is 55 years old and is a graduate in mechanical engineering from the Universidad de los Andes, with more than 29 years of experience in the oil industry. He led the purchase of ISA by Ecopetrol and is currently in charge of leading the company’s evolution to a clean energy era under the mandate of Colombian President Gustavo Petro.
