Indira Kempis is today one of the most visible faces of the crypto crusade in Mexico, alongside corporate voices such as Bitso’s leaders and billionaire Ricardo Salinas Pliego. Kempis faces a financial authority that for the moment has preferred to mark a healthy distance from cryptocurrencies, however. In the summer she presented two reform initiatives to achieve this goal, although there is no certainty about them coming up for discussion.
