Lorenzo Mendoza

The president of Empresas Polar, one of the main food and beverage producers in the country, made up of more than 40 companies and more than 31,600 employees, and which was founded in 1941. His fortune exceeds US$2.5 billion, however, in 2022, he was not included in the Forbes list. Mendoza has been leading political polls as the potential outsider candidate of Venezuelans, although so far he has ruled out such aspiration. He is considered one of the richest people in Venezuela, and the most questioned by the ruling party.
