Rayssa Leal, also known as “Skateboarding Fairy”, is Brazil’s youngest Olympic medalist, a feat she accomplished at the age of 13 in the Tokyo Olympics, in 2021. She is also the youngest to win a medal at the World Street Skateboarding Championships, at age 11. In 2022, she was the champion of the 2nd stage of the World Street Skateboarding League, becoming the biggest stage winner in the history of the competition among women. A native of Imperatriz, south of Maranhão, she took the silver medal in the sport’s debut at the Tokyo Olympic Games, in 2021.
