Ronald Wright Durán Ballén is the CEO of Corporación Favorita, which in 2021 ranked for the second consecutive year as the company with the highest sales revenue, of US$2.17 billion. Launched in 1952, it is the largest self-service store conglomerate in Ecuador, and since 2010 it has had an international presence. It employs 21,600 people and works with 13,041 suppliers. In 2021 it registered 3,226,213 customers and a total of 18,511 shareholders.
