Sempra Infraestructura’s CEO has not only ended disputes with the government but has also managed to propose new liquefied natural gas projects with state-owned electric power utility CFE to export to Asian markets from the Mexican states of Sinaloa and Oaxaca. The company is also setting up its Energía Costa Azul liquefaction plant in Baja California with an investment of $2 billion, as well as projects to export renewable energy to the US from Mexico’s northern border.
