The developer of observation nanosatellites was founded by Emiliano Kargieman in 2010 and currently has 17 satellites in orbit monitoring the supply of food, energy,, water, the impact of natural disasters and humanitarian crises. In 2021, the company merged with CF Acquisition Corp. V to debut on the NYSE, and its estimated valuation is $850 million. It expects to have more than 300 satellites in orbit by 2025 after signing an agreement with Elon Musk’s SpaceX.
