Hernán Kazah y Nicolás Szekasy

Aiming at fostering the Latin American startup ecosystem, in 2011 Hernán Kazah and Nicolas Szekasy launched Kaszek Ventures, focused on several tech-related sectors. In April 2021, they carried out their seventh investment round for a total of US$1 billion in order to continue investing in startups across the region. The fund has raised more than US$10 billion in capital and invested in more than 90 companies. Together with Marcos Galperin, in 2021 they created MELI Kaszek Pioneer Corp, which in October made its debut on Nasdaq with an initial IPO of US$250 million
