Ingrid Briggiler

Ingrid Briggiler was in med school when she saw the opportunity to create a telemedicine platform, through which her patients could treat their illnesses without having to visit a physician in person. In 2017, she founded Llamando al Doctor, which operates 24/7 and connects patients to doctors. During the pandemic, and due to the impossibility of physical contact, the platform was the most frequently adopted by numerous pre-paid medicine companies. In early 2021 it had annual revenues of US$1 million, employed 15 people and also operated in Brazil, Uruguay and Paraguay.
