In 2017, João Miranda founded Hash, a startup that provides payment structures to companies. The company had already raised $58.7 million in investment rounds until October 2021 and was recently added to CB Insights’ list of the 250 biggest fintechs in the world for 2021, of which only six Brazilian companies are part. Miranda’s company currently serves 16,000 establishments and intends to reach 200,000 by the end of 2022.
