Agrofy, the agribusiness platform that combines an e-commerce service with news content, was founded in 2015 and is one of the largest companies of its kind worldwide. Its first investor was Cresud, which injected US$300.000 in 2016. In 2018, its cofounders, Landrein and Larosa, carried out Series A and B rounds for a total of US$29 million, with the participation of Fall Line Capital, Acre Capital, SP Ventures and San Pablo Ventures, among others. With an approximate valuation of US$70 million, Agrofy currently has some 300 employees and operations in seven countries, including the US, Brazil, Colombia and Chile.
