Elie Horn, founder of Cyrela, a real estate developer and construction company based in São Paulo and with a presence in other states. He was born in Syria, grew up in Lebanon and then moved to Brazil, where he founded the company in the 1970s. Cyrela, which has been publicly traded since 2020, expanded by betting on the residential apartment, commercial building and shopping center segments, during the civil construction boom of the 2000s.
