President of Grupo Elcatex, a leading global textile manufacturing organization based in Choloma, Honduras. The entrepreneur has also founded six Industrial Free Trade Zones of about 8 million square feet, employing 55,000 people. A seventh is currently under construction with an area of 4 million square feet, which will be the largest in the region. He has been at the forefront of key investments in energy, agriculture and construction. He is also co-founder of the Foundation for Technical Education in Central America, an active member of the Business Council of Latin America (CEAL) in Honduras and the Honduran Foundation for Development Studies (FHED). He is one of the founders of HUGE Business and Investment Council, an initiative that promotes investment projects in the United States, Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador.
