Ricardo Lacerda has been president and founding partner of BR Partners Banco de Investimentos since 2009. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, treasury, derivatives, investments and financial restructuring. Previously, he was head of Citigroup’s investment bank in Latin America (2007-2009) and Brazil (2005-2009). He was also president director of Goldman Sachs in Brazil (2001-2005) and vice president of BR Partners Banco de Investimentos in New York (1996-2001). Lacerda holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, a postgraduate degree in finance from Fundação Getulio Vargas and a master’s degree in finance from Columbia University in New York.
