Latin America has been one of the fastest growing markets in the world for TikTok, which today defines itself as a content platform, much more than a social network. Growth in the number of advertisers in the region reached 150% in the last fiscal year, led by the head of global business solutions for Latin America, Gabriela Comazzetto. Former director of sales at Twitter and director of business at Facebook, the executive attracted large companies to TikTok and launched initiatives such as a marketplace for content creators.
