According to Ralf Wenzel, Jokr went from first operating to reach unicorn status in just eight months. That supports his vision of big-dreaming in order to succeed.
“It is my ambition with everything that we are doing, but also my ambition as an investor in companies that we want to contribute to changing this world that we want to contribute to making this world a better place,” says Wenzel in his class “Raising Capital, from Seed to Unicorn” for SoftBank Group Operator School, now in its second season. “And hence — he adds — if your startup thinks about like changing the tires of a car in an automated way, then why not thinking about changing the entire car”.
It’s the big dreams that attract other people to work for you.
“It’s the big dreams that also attract investors to get excited about your company”, said the founder.
Here’s Ralf Wenzel’s proposals to achieve a good narrative in every stage of a startup:
- Dream big
- Build local, think global
- Create your Bible
- Breath your numbers
- Build leaders, not losers!
