Andrés Carrillo

He is a civil and environmental engineer with a master’s degree in environmental management from the Universidad de Los Andes. He has extensive experience as a senior government official and as a business consultant, and assumed the management of EPM in April 2021. Since then he has undertaken the task of starting up the first turbines of the Hidroituango projec hydropower project, expected to come on line before the end of this year.
