Carla Medina became president of the board of directors of the Mexican Solar Energy Association after a tsunami of criticism from the Mexican government of intermittent energy companies for affecting the CFE, the state-owned electricity company, and the operation of the national grid. The group represents companies with installed photovoltaic capacity to the order of 8,175 MW, almost a quarter with direct investments of US$10 billion.
