Juan Ricardo Ortega

He chairs Grupo Energía de Bogotá, a pan-Latin American company with operations in the electric energy and natural gas sector in Colombia, Peru, Brazil and Guatemala. He has headed the group since July 2020 and he has focused on consolidating the company in the region as a leader in renewable energy. He has a degree in economics from the Universidad de los Andes and holds a master’s degrees in economics, finance and mathematics from Yale University in the US.
