Woods Staton

Recognized for expanding the McDonald’s brand in Latin America and for developing and supporting service and entrepreneurship programs. He founded Arcos Dorados in 2007 when he led a consortium of investors in the purchase of McDonald’s Latin American operations. He is also co-founder of Endeavor Argentina, an organization that promotes entrepreneurship. He is a member of the Latin American Advisory Council of Harvard Business School and is also a member of the Board of the IMD Foundation in Lausanne, Switzerland. In addition, he serves as Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Latin American Program at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, and is also a member of the International Advisory Council to the President of the Americas Society/Council of the Americas.
