The startup created by Carlos Aravena with José Manuel Sanchez (COO) y Nicolás Fuenzalida (CCO) aims to teach languages in a social way in cafeterias in Santiago, Chile. Its method migrated online and it has expanded to Lima, Mexico City and Bogotá. It is currently entering the U.S. market and plans to touch down in Central America. In May, Políglota closed a US$2.5 million investment round after participating with the incubator Y Combinator. The comany is valued at more than $50 million.
