Jordi Muñoz was one of the drivers of the mass use of drones more than a decade ago. His inventiveness allowed him to develop an autopilot using circuits taken from a Nintendo Wii console and which came to the attention of Chris Anderson of Wired. Together they launched 3DRobotics and developed the smart drone Solo. After an economic debacle at 3DRobotics, the Mexican entrepreneur founded Mayan Robotics, specialized in the design and manufacture of essential electronics systems for driverless cars and drones.
