In December 2020, amid the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic in Mexico, Lissy Giacomán joined forces with Sofía Sada and Miriam Fernández to launch Vinco, a platform that seeks to close the skills gap among workers in Mexican and Latin American companies. The project offers online education opportunities, from elementary to higher education level, or courses such as language learning and lifelong learning. Some of Vinco’s clients are Nestlé, Kavak and DidiFood. In October the company was in the process of closing a capital raise for US$2 million to expand in the region.
