With Henry, Martín Borchardt capitalized on a recent trend in the region in an original way: offering a free intensive course to train full stack developers. Once graduates of the course secure a job, they begin to pay back their training to the academy. The academy was lauched in early 2020 and has now raised US$2 million in a seed round from various investors, such as Silicon Valley’s YCombinator, and is one of the Argentine fintechs that achieved the fastest growth during the pandemic. They aim to train around 100.000 programmers over the next five years.
