In 2015, Ricardo Amper founded Incode, an artificial intelligence company whose main business is helping its clients develop face recognition tools to improve the customer experience and the relationship with their users. In December 2021, Incode completed a Seres B financing eound (for US$220 million) with contributions from General Atlantic and SoftBank, among others. With that, the firm became a new Mexican unicorn, with technological components developed in Mexico and with operations with engineering from that country, the U.S. and Serbia.
