The growth of cybersecurity companies was exponential as the pandemic advanced, in parallel to the growth of cyber attacks. Despite the fact that VU Security had already enjoyed robust growth since its founding in 2011, over the past year it has reached more than 350 million people in the 30 countries in which it operates, serving companies such as Visa, Todo Pago, Globant, Banco Macro and Banelco, among others. In mid-2021 the company raised US$12 million at the close of a Series B financing round.
