Founded in 2011 by surgeon Alberto Rodríguez-Navarro, Levita Magnetics seeks to develop new technologies that reduce the need to carry out invasive surgery, evolving mininally invasive surgery using a robot to carry out abdominal interventions. The company has raised more than US$25 million and carried out three surgeries to present results to the U.S. Federal Drug Administration, to receive authorization and launch in the market in 2022.
