Angelica Fuentes

Mexican businesswoman Angelica Fuentes has focused on promoting the gender equality and women’s empowerment agenda, as well as entrepreneurship. In the past, she has dabbled in local Mexican politics. Her family invested in the natural gas business through Corporativo Grupo Imperial, which she ran during the 1990s and was informally known as the “gas queen” in the north of the country. She was also a director of Grupo Omnilife, owned by the late businessman Jorge Vergara.
