Mónica Lozano has been one of the most influential Latinas in the US for more than three decades. From her days as publisher of La Opìnión, the most relevant Spanish-language newspaper in the country, to CEO of its parent company ImpreMedia, Lozano has been a voice calling for the voices of Latinos to be heard by all media. After her career as a publisher, Lozano chaired the College Futures Foundation, an organization dedicated to bringing equality to minority students in the US. She is also a co-founder of the Aspen Institute Latinos and Society program. In addition to serving on the board of directors of Target Corp. and Bank of America Corp, last year Apple Inc, announced her appointment to its board, earning praise and recognition from CEO Tim Cook.
