Patty Arvielo

Nearly 20 years ago, Patty Arvielo, the daughter of Mexican immigrants, and her husband founded New American Funding, a mortgage firm that over time became the largest in its industry dedicated to serving minorities. To date, the company manages a portfolio of more than 240,000 loans totaling US$63 billion.
